Le Marche de Saint Germain

Most districts in Paris have outdoor market once a week. They are always crowded and bustling. And it’s difficult to know exactly which day and what time the markets are open. Get there at 10 am and you may as well have slept in, all the good stuff is gone. Luckily there is the covered market in St Germain, which is always open (well, within reason).

The Marché St Germain is the closet thing the Parisians have to a mall. This indoor shopping center (notice I didn’t say mall) houses fruit stands, fish vendors, butchers, cheese shops, bakeries and (the best) wine shops. You can also find clothing stores and house-wares. Come to the Marché St Germain to shop like a Frenchie, American style.
