Rue Buci

A step from the front door of Hotel Le Regent is Rue de Buci. This street doesn’t get as much press as other Paris streets, but that is good news for you. There are no Gaps or H&M’s, only a few tourists and lots of great cafés and restaurants, terraces for dining in the sun and people watching. And on hot days, try Amorino for ice cream and on cold days, try Cacao et Chocolat for hot chocolate. Ice cream and hot chocolate are both better Italian style.

Don’t forget about shopping. There is great shopping here, only small boutiques with cutting edge French fashions to take home and show off. None of the same stuff you can get at any number of international chain stores. Nobody wants to travel three thousand miles to find something they can get at home.
